Alan Donald our managing director started the company in 1997 and installed 19 ground source heat pumps in the first year this was probably the first Ground source heat pump company installing heat pumps in Scotland and the UK.
Although system sales and installs slowed up Alan forged relationships with some of the now biggest heat pump companies in the UK and has carried out over 300 installs over a number of years throughout the UK.
Alan trained in installation, design, and heat pump systems during training visits to Sweden with some of the leading Heat pump manufacturers and still holds the Swedish heat pump systems as the best in the world.
2004 we started a relationship with Eco-heat pumps now Danfoss UK heat pumps and this relationship continues to this day. We are a Danfoss UK approved partner
and installation company. Danfoss uk heat pumps is part of the Danfoss group and provide a full range of accredited heat pumps in both air and ground source and offer the backing of a large company who have been at the front of heating and refrigeration products for many years.
IMS Heating Solutions Ltd are a fully accredited MCS registered company and are able to install heat pumps under the RHI incentive scheme and can offer Cash back incentive of up to £1500 for installations through Danfoss and British Gas CERT funding.
IMS Heating solutions are unique in that we can carry out every aspect of the process from design, sales through to installation and servicing of heat pump installations along with Under floor heating systems designed to work with heat pumps . This was something we picked up on over the years that customers really wanted a one stop shop and we have endeavoured to provide this service .
